Glance thanks N.C. State for opportunity

Bookmark and Share

Prepared statement from Stephanie Glance:

I would like to thank NC State University for affording me the chance to be a part of such a fine institution for the last 15 years. I am saddened today that I will not have the opportunity to be the next head coach for the women's basketball program. I would like to especially thank the fans, former players, and coaches from around the country who have sent letters, emails, and made phone calls on my behalf. Thank you sincerely for your  support!

I am MOST grateful for the lessons learned from the legendary Coach Kay Yow! These will stay with me for a lifetime!

I wish her successor the best.

Wolfpack coach

What is wrong with Lee Fowler that he didn't notice that his new coach has NO experience with nationally rated teams? Coach Glance took three of them to overtime! Sure Western Carolina won their conference, but did he look at just who they played? And they had no stressors. Only Coach Glance could keep the Wolfpack women together and go on to win several games, after enduring the sadness of last season.

brings a tear...yet again...

nothing more...just, I feel for Coach Glance. Two giant blows so close together. But she's a strong lady...she will persevere.

Class Act

A first class statement by a Class Act. Good luck Stephanie!
