After evaulating the weather situation, East Carolina has decided to continue with its schedule for this afternoon's game against West Virginia.
From the Pirates' release:Â
After reviewing information and the latest forecast from the National Weather Service (NWS) Saturday morning, East Carolina University officials announced that the West Virginia-East Carolina football game will kickoff at 4:30 p.m. later today at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium as scheduled.
As a reminder, parking restrictions for the game announced Thursday will still be enforced. Because of the likelihood of possible wind gusts remaining in the wake of Tropical Storm Hanna, special emphasis will be placed on the no-tent policy for this particular contest.
