Here's what I think of Obama and the election in general
Wed, 11/05/2008 - 12:50 — CarolineinApexBeyond the Board of Education continuing their tyranny in Wake County, I'm gravely concerned nationally about what will happen to our efforts in Iraq, what will happen to the U.S. Supreme Court and what will happen to the economy. I fear we are in for 4 very liberal years—not just democratic, but liberal. Socialism arrives in January.
When you have a president-elect who promises over $3 trillion in spending and still claims to be able to cut your taxes, you have a president who lied his way into office. No way you can spend that kind of money without either raising taxes or raising the deficit. If he doesn't raise taxes (which I am 95% confident he will have to), his super majority congress will just print more money to pay for his programs, which raises the deficit and inflation. Our economy isn't going to get better. It will get much worse.
I think I will not watch the news for the next 4 years. If there is a bumpersticker that says "I voted for NObama" I want it!
If anyone can see a silver lining in all of this, PLEASE send it along.
