This year's high school valedictorians will be honored at the Wake County school board meeting on Tuesday.
In keeping with recent practice, the recognition will be limited to congratulating them at the board meeting. Starting in 2009, the school system cited financial reasons for discontinuing the practice of holding a luncheon reception for the valedictorians.
