WakeEd

The WakeEd blog is devoted to discussing and answering questions about the major issues facing the Wake County school system. How much will the new Democratic majority on the school board do to undo the changes made by Republicans since 2009? Will the new student assignment plan be a hybrid of the last two models or primarily be a return to the use of busing for diversity? Who will replace Tony Tata as the new superintendent of the state's largest district? How will voters react to a likely request in 2013 to borrow potentially more than $1 billion to build and renovate schools?

WakeEd is maintained by The News & Observer's Wake schools reporter, T. Keung Hui. While Keung posts information and analysis on the issues, keep us posted on your suggestions, questions, tips and what you're doing to cope with the changes in Wake's schools.

Holiday where to go? On what to look?

Summer, good weather... :) Absolutely to work it would not be desirable, and in general it is time in holiday! At last has prevailed upon the heads and to me promised in a week - one and a half to give holiday. Oh, at last I shall have a rest. We with my guy have made a decision, that will suffice åçèòü on the seas, something is necessary new, at something to look, in fact around so much pleasant places... And here at us heated arguments have begun. I with might and main convince, that it is necessary to go somewhere on the east or on the south. All life dreamed to look at the ancient city of Perge which is in Antalya. I do not remember where, but somewhere read, that great Ellins gate and an acropolis is connected with smart road in which center the waterpipe is laid. Hardly to myself I represent an ancient waterpipe for this reason I wish to look the eyes. Or to look on Taj Mahal, what it beautiful on a picture. :)
And my guy does not want, speaks, have gone to the Europe and all here. It wants to Egypt, to Pyramids to go, a pancake well here interesting? And? Any ancient ruins costing in the middle of huge desert! Continuous sand, even in opinion of sand what there the show, is torture and only. And what there to look? Again the sea? So in fact has already bothered, something is necessary more interestingly.
Where all the same to go? Someone can will share experience? :)

BigWinnie Try using a different E-Mail account, use the Underscore character "_" for spaces. For some reason I had to add another one at the end to get mine to work.

how does one re-register

how does one re-register when you're already registered and it tells you so??

name change

what if we want to change the name we registered as previously? I just tried to re-register with the name I use on the blogs and it wouldn't let me...

I had the same problem

What I had to do was delete my old account and re-register so that I could change my member ID.  The new system always shows the member ID on the posts.

Yea, Mr Hui! Gosh darn it

Yea, Mr Hui! Gosh darn it you were right you rascal you! If you re-register you get an instant post. Not that I didn't believe you........ :)
