Common Sense Matters has reported spending nearly $28,000 so far in their attempts to go after Wake County school board candidates Heather Losurdo and Ron Margiotta.
A campaign finance report filed last week shows that the 527 group has spent $27,922.48 on mailers targeted at both candidates. The group reports it has received $40,000 in donations from the mysterious N.C. Futures Action Fund, which hasn't identified its donors.
Both groups, who have ties to Democratic activists, went after the Republican-backed candidates with a new set of mailers received over the weekend in Districts 3 and 8.
I don't yet have the new Margiotta piece, but this mailer attacking Losurdo continues their theme of accusing her of being a "Tea Party extremist."

But that minor omission would never stop you from giving them full free coverage in your blog, would it Keung?
Any updates from Gerrick about equally "mysterious funding" for his little ProgressNC smear group? Whats it been now - 2-3 weeks since you promised you would get to the bottom of that ??? I know you've been busy blogging. :-)
