CHAPEL HILL — And oh, yes. Football season is upon us. The UNC football team will host “Meet the Heels Day” on Aug. 4.

What: Meet the Heels Day
Where: Kenan Stadium
When: Autograph sessions from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.; stadium gates open at 3 p.m.
UNC players will sign autographs from 4 to 6 p.m., with defensive players going from 4 to 5 p.m. and offensive players signing from 5 to 6 p.m. Tar Heels coach Larry Fedora will be available for autographs from 4 to 6 p.m.
Those wishing to attend should enter gates 2, 5, 6 or either of the Blue Zone gates in the east end zone. A “Carolina Kids Zone” will be open in the east end of Kenan Stadium, and there will be inflatable games and other activities.
Public parking is available for $5 in the RamsHead Deck and the new Bell Tower Deck. Free parking is available in the Craige, Cardinal and Jackson decks off Manning Drive.
