T.J. Logan, considered one of the top football prospects in North Carolina, has committed to play for the University of North Carolina, according to several sites that cover recruiting – including Inside Carolina and CarolinaBlue.com.
The 5-foot-9, 175-pound Logan, a running back from Northern Guilford High in Greensboro, is a four-star prospect according to Rivals.com.
He chose the Tar Heels over offers from N.C. State, Auburn, Clemson, Ohio State and South Carolina, among others.
Logan is the 11th commitment in UNC’s 2013 recruiting class, and he is the Tar Heels’ third four-star recruit, according to Rivals.
UNC also has commitments from two other running backs – Khris Francis and Ryan Switzer – but Logan is considered a versatile athlete who has to potential to play a range of positions in college. In addition to his time on offense, Logan has also played in the defensive backfield at Northern Guilford.
