Yeah, I know I keep slagging off on the shameless self-promotion front. But, as you'll learn from this post, I've been so busy, working my fingers to the bone for this paper, that I've barely had enough time to hype myself up. Nevertheless, in the past two 'Sups, I've churned out:
— Reviews of "Burn After Reading," "Kabluey," "Ghost Town" and "Moving Midway."
— A fall movie preview.
— Interviews with "Moving" director/film critic Godfrey Cheshire and Robin Thicke.
— A critic's pix column.
— A Pop Life piece on the new film-noir series at the N.C. Museum of Art.
And, in today's Sup, we have:
— Reviews of "Eagle Eye" and "Choke."
— A Pop Life Q & A with "Choke" director Clark Gregg.
And let's not forget the "Miracle at St. Anna" review that appeared in today's Triangle & Co. that's already been getting some interesting responses from folks. (Mostly, from my co-workers who want to know what Spike ever did to me to cause this ire. Watch the movie and you'll know.)
So, there you go. Hopefully, I'll be a lot more speedy with the plugging in the near future.
