Q: Where have all the good indie films gone?

A: Germany.

That's one of many things we learn in this edition of the Condition, where I talk to guest Andrew Grant, one of my fave film bloggers and co-owner of indie DVD company Benten Films, about the current state of independent cinema. We also get into this whole mumblecore business (I can take anything featuring these two, but other from that — whateva!), and where the future of decent independent cinema lies. (See above.)
