Will Obama Affect TV?

You may have noticed that Barack Obama's election has prompted a lot of articles, soul searching, and navel gaving.

On the pop culture end, there's been a lot of Huxtable comparisons. (Link might require registration.)

Check out this well-written article from the L.A. Times.

It explores how televison, which often tries to reflect the tone of the times, may have a tough time mining the themes of the presidency.

I didn't know TV still needed to be invented or put into effect.  The question you meant to ask is "Will Obama AFFECT TV?  Your English teachers would be dismayed.

At around 9:30 last night, the headline popped into my head and I said, I meant "affect." Thank goodness you are here to pull off the veil of my perfection. And in such a nice way too!
