Award season continues.

Today, the nominees for the Screen Actors Guild Awards came out. I still don't get why Kiefer Sutherland's performance in "24: Redemption" is getting recognition, but hey, I'm not an actor and they are.

Our own Michael C. Hall is up for two awards.

These books are by Charlaine Harris: _Dead Until Dark_ is the first. They're light and fun, and I recommend them as good holiday escape fiction. (They're MUCH better written than the Twilight series.)

I won mine in a raffle. Just dropped my card in a fishbowl and I actually got picked.

I was skeptical. But I have to admit:  I LOVE IT!

Dexter certainly proves that.

The books that the show Dexter is based on are also excellent! If you need a dark humor escape during the holiday, I highly recommend them!

I hope the cable shows get some recognition.

Some of the shows on cable are just way better. Even if you remove the material not allowed on network TV.
