This is kind of unreal. Michaele Salahi, half of the White House party crasher duo and participant in the upcoming season of Bravo's "Real Housewives of DC," appeared with her "Housewives" cohorts on "The View" this morning and things got a little out of hand.
The whole incident is pretty confusing, especially if you haven't been keeping track of how all the housewives have been bickering and throwing alcoholic beverages on each other every chance they get. But now Salahi has accused "View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg of abusing her (Washington Post uses the word "hitting") on the set of "The View," even though footage from the show indicates Whoopi merely touched her on the back and spoke to her.
If this is any indication of the level of crazy we're dealing with, the new season (which begins tomorrow night on Bravo) should be um, interesting. I know I'll at least be taping "The View" on Thursday.

I don't watch The View on a good day, much less when they've booked attention hos that ought to crawl back into whatever hole they came out of and disappear. I think this couple is right up there with the John Edwards crowd - they'll do anything to keep their mugs in the spotlight.
Why does the N&O have to keep rewarding this kind of trash with publicity?
