Up All Night (8pm, NBC) - Reagan and Chris look for a family car that's not too boring, and Chris goes into negotiating mode. Elsewhere, Ava wants to cover more serious topics on her show but isn't happy about the work that goes into doing it.
Suburgatory (8:30pm, ABC) - Tessa's unexpected attraction to her BMOC neighbor gives her the willies. Also, George wonders if he's up to the demanding suburban standards of throwing a successful barbecue.
Modern Family (9pm, ABC) - Jay helps Manny sell wrapping paper for a school fundraiser and Phil and Gloria loses Jay's beloved dog.
George Harrison: Living in a Material World (9pm, HBO) - Part one of Martin Scorsese's sprawling two-part documentary on George Harrison. Tonight covers the early years with the Beatles and features archival footage and remarks from Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. The conclusion airs tomorrow night. Check out the trailer from HBO.
Raising Hope (9:30pm, Fox) - Virginia, Burt, Jimmy and Sabrina go to Las Vegas when Delilah (Amy Sedaris) plans a big wedding. Virginia, however, is jealous of her cousin's fancy wedding because she never had one.
Law & Order: SVU (10pm, NBC) - A 13-year-old girl won't reveal who got her pregnant, leading police to suspect she was raped. The suspects include the son of a noteworthy political couple (Kyle MacLachlan and Paige Turco), as well as the son of their housekeeper.
American Horror Story (10pm, FX) - A new series about a Boston couple and their teen daughter who move into an extremely haunted Los Angeles mansion. Tonight's premiere episode is creepy and weird.
