What to Watch on Tuesday: Kennedy Center salutes DeNiro and The Boss

Rudolph's Shiny New Year (8pm, ABC) - Red Skelton narrates this 1976 tale of Rudolph's mission to find Baby New Year for Father Time.

True Blood (8pm, HBO) - The Season 1 marathon continues with three more episodes tonight.  

Kennedy Center Honors (9pm, CBS) - Bruce Springsteen, Robert DeNiro, Mel Brooks, Dave Brubeck, and Grace Bumbry are the honorees. Guests and presenters include Jon Stewart, Meryl Streep, Martin Scorsese, Carl Reiner, Aretha Franklin, Sting, Martin Short and Eddie Vedder.

One Big Happy Family (8pm, TLC) - The premiere of the new show featuring the Coles family from North Carolina. Two episodes tonight. Read our preview of the show.

Better Off Ted (9:30pm, ABC) - Veronica slacks off at work when her magician boyfriend Mordor shows up unexpectedly.
