The Sound of Music (7pm, ABC) - This 1965 Rodgers and Hammerstein classic story based on the memoir of Maria Von Trapp is a holiday tradition. It stars Julie Andrews
and this version has been restored to its original length, so commercial playing time is four hours.
Everest: Beyond the Limit (8pm, Discovery) - The first summit of the season yields its first victim in the third season premiere. This season will follow Russel Brice's Himex team as they climb the South face. Three new episodes air tonight.
Jesse Stone: On Thin Ice (8pm, CBS) - A repeat from earlier this year, but a good movie from Tom Selleck's "Jesse Stone" series. In this one, Jesse is under investigation by Boston PD Internal Affairs for his role in a shooting which leaves his friend seriously injured.

several years back.
Yeah. Conquering Everest was really a great victory for the world.
It was very tough too.
Thanks
