Amazing Race 22 (8pm, CBS) - Former Carolina Hurricanes player Bates Battaglia and his brother Anthony are still in the race. Tonight, the 10 remaining teams compete in Bora Bora. One duo's fear of water leads to extreme panic and one racer suffers a possible race-ending injury while running to the pit stop.

85th Academy Awards (8:30pm, ABC) - ABC's red carpet coverage begins at 7, but the actual ceremony doesn't get started until 8:30. Seth McFarlane (left) hosts the telecast from Los Angeles, where heavily nominated "Lincoln" battles "Argo," Silver Linings Playbook," "Les Miserables," "Life of Pi," "Amour," "Beasts of the Southern Wild," "Django Unchained" and "Zero Dark Thirty" for trophies. Performers include Adele, Norah Jones and Barbara Streisand. Note: The E! Red Carpet show starts at 5:30 p.m. (Countdown to the Red Carpet starts at 1:30 - yikes). CNN has Piers Morgan reporting from the Red Carpet from 6 p.m. to 7:30.

Call the Midwife (9pm, UNC-TV) - The series holiday special serves as the first season's official finale. Tonight, Christmas at the Nonnatus House finds the nurses and nuns caring for an abandoned newborn and searching for the mother. Also, Jenny tries to locate an elderly homeless woman's children, and the newly married Chummy plans a nativity play.

The Walking Dead (9pm, AMC) - Rick and the group contemplate their next move after their security has been compromised, while Andrea becomes uncomfortable with the changes at Woodbury.

Girls (9pm, HBO) - Hannah goes along with Jessa to visit her estranged father, his alternative girlfriend and her teen son in Upstate New York.

Enlightened (9:30pm, HBO) - If you have access to HBO and you aren't watching this show, I beg you to do a quick catch-up of Season 1 (there aren't many episodes) and dive in to this most excellent second season. Tonight, Tyler asks Eileen to arrange a meeting with Charles Szidon for Amy, who is flabbergasted that the CEO isn't the monster she expected. Meanwhile, Dougie addresses his employees about Cogentiva's future, and Levi reacts to Amy's new life plans.
