Here are tips on watching the Olympic games. The Closing Ceremony begins at 7 p.m. Included: the entrance of the athletes, the extinguishing of the Olympic cauldron, and the passing of the Olympic flag to the mayor of Rio de Janeiro, site of the 2016 Summer Games. The Glades (9pm, A&E) - In the Season 3 finale, a businesswoman is murdered just before she intended to offer an endorsement deal to a young surfer.
True Blood (9pm, HBO) - Bill launches a public relations campaign about the rise in vampire violence that's favorable to the Authority, though Nora has a hard time selling it to Eric.
Hell on Wheels (9pm, AMC) - In the Season 2 premiere, Durant and Lily steer the railroad further west, while Cullen and Elam land on opposite sides of the law.
The Newsroom (10pm, HBO) - The ratings for "News Night" plummet after it downplays a pair of sensational stories, and Will and Mac must find a way to lure back enough viewers to justify the network's quest to air a Republican debate. Also, Charlie learns an NSA whistle-blower's identity.
Breaking Bad (10pm, AMC) - Tonight is one of those "OH MY GOD, WHAT ... NOOOOOO!" episodes of "Breaking Bad." You know the ones. Walt's team is forced to get very creative in acquiring new materials to keep their operation going. Plan on being up late tonight, because there's no way you're going to nod off right after this one ends.
Longmire (10pm, A&E) - In the first season finale, a teen is murdered after being acquitted of raping a Cheyenne girl. Later, Walt is forced to finally confront his wife's death.
Political Animals (10pm, USA) - Elaine feels torn between tending to T.J. and a rescue mission for a Chinese submarine. Bud takes action after learning the truth behind T.J.'s attempted suicide, but Elaine's deal with Susan to gain her discretion regarding T.J.'s overdose puts Bud's future in peril.
Episodes (10:30pm, Showtime) - The network forces Sean and Beverly to confront Matt about the extra weight he's put on. Later, Beverly goes on a blind date with Morning's brother.
Animal Practice (10:38, NBC) - After the Olympics Closing Ceremony, NBC will preview this new sitcom about hijinks in a New York veterinarian office. It has a monkey!!!! Read more.
