Bookmark and Share

Here we go, people. The fall TV season kicks into high gear this week! These are just the new shows airing tonight. Don't forget that previously debuted shows like "The Voice" (NBC), "Revolution" (NBC), "Bones" (Fox), and "The Mob Doctor" (Fox) also air.

How I Met Your Mother (8pm, CBS) - Season 8 opens with the impending wedding of Barney and Robin, but concerns that one or both of them will get cold feet cloud the happy time.

Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars (8pm, ABC) - The 15th season begins with some DWTS favorites returning to the dance floor. Competitors include Kirstie Alley, Emmitt Smith (right) and Drew Lachey.

Partners (8:30pm, CBS) - A new sitcom about the longtime friendship between two business partners, one straight and one gay. See Adrienne's review.

2 Broke Girls (9pm, CBS) - The second season begins with the girls visiting Caroline's father in prison. He encourages them to attend the Channing family's estate auction and buy a particular keepsake. I'm hoping there's a "There's always money in the banana stand" moment.

Mike & Molly (9:30pm, CBS) - In the Season 3 premiere, Mike and Molly's  honeymoon in Paris inspires Mike to make some life-altering changes.

Hawaii Five-0 (10pm, CBS) - The third season begins with McGarrett dealing with the realization that his mother is alive, while Five-0 hunts for Wo Fat to avenge the death of a team family member.

Castle (10pm, ABC) - In the Season 5 opener, a night of passion forces Castle and Beckett to reexamine their relationship. Meanwhile, they must go up against the people who murdered Beckett's mother and who are now threatening Beckett's life.

The Day Carl Sandurg Died (10pm, UNC-TV) - This documentary examines the life and legacy of Pulitzer Prize-winning poet-author Carl Sandburg. It features remarks from his daughter and grandson, as well as friends and prominent authors.
