What to Watch on Sunday: A Big Mac with a side of Jack the Ripper

Bookmark and Share

The Prisoner (8pm, AMC) - An ambitious retelling of the 1960s cult hit, starring Jim Caviezel as an amnesiac held in a weird village where the inhabitants are known only by numbers. Caviezel plays Six, and Ian McKellan stars as Two, the village's leader. "The Prisoner" is a six-part (six-hour) mini-series, with two episodes tonight, two episodes Monday night, and the final two episodes on Tuesday. Maybe check out a couple of reviews before you decide if you want to commit.

Big Mac: Inside the McDonald's Empire / Coca-Cola: The Real Story Behind the Real Thing (8pm, CNBC) - Get yourself a Big Mac Extra Value Meal with a Coke and settle in for a junk food TV marathon that will fascinate you and make you hate yourself at the same time. But seriously, I have seen this McDonalds special and it's pretty fascinating.

Jack the Ripper in America (9pm, Discovery) - There's evidence to suggest that Jack the Ripper killed victims in America? Really? These guys check it out.

Brothers & Sisters (10pm, ABC) - Gilles Marini and Jon Tenney are still around, which is reason enough to watch.
