What to Watch on Saturday: George Lopez special airs live on HBO

NYC 22 (8pm, CBS) - Two episodes tonight. In the first, Kenny and Ahmad search for a suspected rapist at a Harlem block party. In the second, Kenny and Ahmad investigate when an Ivy League student robs the man who mentors him.

An American Girl: McKenna Shoots for the Stars (8pm, NBC) - In a movie based on the American Girl dolls, a confident young gymnast struggles in the classroom, but with the help of family and friends, finds a way to believe in herself again.

My Cat From Hell (8pm, Animal Planet) - A woman, who I will probably judge, is ready to give up on her cat because of its unpleasant disposition.

Bad Dog! (9pm, Animal Planet) - A monkey rides a family dog like a racehorse. Shouldn't that be on a show called "Bad Monkey!"?

True Bloodthirst (9pm, Syfy) - A clash between vampires and humans unfolds in a not-too-distant future where both species coexist openly, with the former subsiding on synthetic blood as the human population begins to dwindle.

George Lopez: It's Not Me, It's You (10pm, HBO) - In his third HBO special, comedian George Lopez delivers observations on the state of Latinos in the United States and talks about "Latino environmental firsts." He's also likely to talk about politics and his visit to the White House. The special comes to you live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. Check out this clip of Lopez taking about the special.

The Firm (10pm, NBC) - I think this is it. For real this time. In what I honestly believe to be the series finale, a new enemy will emerge on Ray and Tammy's wedding day, and Mitch will make a startling discovery tied to the Patrick Walker case.

Unstable (10pm, Lifetime) - A newly divorced mom is terrorized by a stalker after she hires a handsome stranger as a caretaker and invites him to live in her guest house.
