What to Watch on Friday: Step away from the Bacon Bomb

Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution (9pm, ABC) - Jamie discusses consequences of unhealthy food choices with students at West Adams High, inviting people with diabetes, heart disease, and high blood pressure to share their stories. Also, a single dad learns to prepare home-cooked meals.

Whale Wars (9pm, Animal Planet) - The Sea Shepherds try to locate the factory vessel, but they are soon followed by two harpoon ships.

Younger Next Year: The New Science of Aging (10pm, UNC-TV) - Columbia University medical professor Henry S. Lodge, author of the "Younger Than Next Year" books, offers advice on living a longer and healthier life. Let me guess: eat right, exercise, get plenty of sleep?

Outrageous Food (10pm, Food) - This show is the counterpart to the previous show, with instruction on how to be sicker and die sooner. In this episode, Tom Pizzica (right) visits Paddy Long's in Chicago, home of the Bacon Bomb -- five pounds of sausage, pork, and beef, wrapped in a weave of bacon. Tom also samples a 7-pound burrito at San Felipe's Cantina in Tempe, Arizona, and a 2-foot pizza topped with ghost chiles at Bernie-O's Pizza in Michigan.

Real Time with Bill Maher (10pm, HBO) - Guests tonight are US Rep. Jane Harman, actor Jane Lynch, comedian Janeane Garafolo, journalist Joshua Green, and Hollywood blogger Sharon Waxman.
