America Celebrates July 4th at Ford's Theater (9pm, ABC) - At this special taped earlier in June and hosted by Ty Burrell ("Modern Family"), President Obama presents African Archbishop Desmond Tutu and South African Constitutional Court Justice Albie Sachs with the theater's Lincoln Medal. The medal "exemplifies the particular focus, dedication and generosity of spirit" of President Abraham Lincoln. Dick Van Dyke, Kelly Clarkson, and Lionel Richie perform, as well as the cast of "Mary Poppins" and the Soldier's Chorus of the United States Army Field Band.
Merlin (10pm, Syfy) - In the Season 2 finale, the freed dragon attacks Camelot with a fury that cannot be defeated except by a dragonlord, all but one of whom where killed years earlier at Uther's behest. Isn't that always the way... So, Merlin and Arthur set out to find the last dragonlord (John Lynch).
