Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader (8pm, Fox) - There's a serious danger of folksy redneck overload tonight, when Larry the Cable Guy is a guest on this Jeff Foxworthy game show.
Eureka (9pm, Syfy) - Tonight's the premiere of the second half of the third season (got that?!) of this hit SyFy (formerly SciFi) show. The mid-season cliffhanger of whether or not Sheriff Jack Carter (Colin Ferguson) is actually fired will be answered tonight.
The Soup (10pm, E!) - If last week was any indication, Joel McHale will likely be making fun of over-the-top Michael Jackson coverage. Remember fans, he's mocking the talking heads, not the King of Pop.

Syfy channel not in Daily N&O TV listing? ON TV mag too $
Tue, 07/14/2009 - 08:14 — wspaldingI'm disappointed that the Syfy channel is no longer included in the Daily N&O TV listings? There are a few shows that come on the Syfi channel that I like to watch, and I'm now forced to find the listings somewhere else. I noticed that Spike is not listed either.
I will not subscribe to the "ON TV magazine" currently being promoted by the N&O. It is far too expensive, and I've found it to have serious accuracy issues.
Also, I can get 56 issues of the TV-Guide magazine for $14. Why would I want to spend $39 for 52 issues of the ON TV magazine?
Finally, for me, because the TV listing provided in the Daily N&O is incomplete I consider it unreliable, and it means that I have less use for the N&O. I realize the N&O must cut costs, but sacrificing reliability seems short sighted.
