The Biggest Loser: Ding, dong, Tracey's gone.

Bookmark and Share

The internets are all abuzz today, with strains of "Ding, Dong, the Witch is Dead" practically wafting up out of my computer's ethernet cable as I type this.

Raleigh native Tracey Yukich, who quickly became "Biggest Loser" season 8's requisite villain, finally got her comeuppance last night, and fans all over the country are celebrating her reality show demise.

After spending a week with the whole gang in our nation's capital, Tracey found herself below the yellow line at weigh-in and in a showdown with her "Biggest Loser" nemesis, Liz. (Sorry if this is a spoiler for you, but this is Raleigh so Tracey is news to our readers).

Is all the beating up on Tracey deserved or unfair? You can decide amongst yourselves.

All we know is that she made some craaazy decisions in the game that often either sabotaged or sold out her teammates. Tracey always claimed her moves were strategic and designed to help her win the game, but "Biggest Loser" isn't "Survivor," and Tracey's strategic (or if you prefer, "cutthroat") moves are what sent her home last night.

Tracey made enemies on the show, plain and simple, and those folks were just waiting for the chance to serve up a little chilled revenge (with light dressing on the side, of course).

Tracey is originally from Raleigh and still has family here, but currently lives in with her husband and four children in Texas.

And by the way, Tracey looked fantastic in her Transformation Video

"Biggest Loser"

We saw Daniel and Rebecca of "The Biggest Loser" running here Sunday in the City of Oaks half-marathon (he's from Willow Springs). They finished together in 3 hours, 24 minutes.

No way!

That's great! How did they look?

City of Oaks

They looked good, like they've lost some more weight since the show. You can see for yourself on the photos section of the marathon's Web site, www.cityofoaksmarathon.com. Daniel Wright's bib number is 3838. Rebecca Meyer's bib number is 2910.
