Sunday is the 5th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina's assault on the Gulf Coast. CNN is featuring live coverage from New Orleans through Monday, August 30, but below are a few of the specials we've found that take a look back at the storm's devastation. Sanjay Gupta, M.D. (7:30am, CNN) - Gupta revisits the now-shuttered Charity Hospital with Dr. Ben Deboisblanc, the last doctor standing at Charity following the storm and learns how the terrible storm has affected his life. Caring for patients during Katrina turned out to be a reprieve of sorts, his 20-year marriage ended shortly before the storm, and living alone and depressed as he battled to rebuild Charity, he discusses with Gupta the challenges many in New Orleans with medical needs have faced five years ago and now. Trouble the Water (9pm, National Geographic Channel) - New Orleans resident Kim Roberts chance camcorder purchase becomes instrumental in documenting Hurricane Katrina's path of devastation. Filmmakers Tia Lessin and Carl Deal combine their footage with hers and follow the Roberts family through their ordeals with FEMA bureacracy as they cope with life after the disaster.

Washington Watch with Roland Martin (11am, TV One) - This special edition comes from New Orleans and explores the state of the African American community in the Crescent City five years after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. Guests include: New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu, actor Wendell Pierce, New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton; former CNN producer Kim Bondy, and many others. The show was taped on location in New Orleans, and re-airs Monday at 6am.
When Weather Changed History (2pm, The Weather Channel) - Examining how Hurricane Katrina led to reforms in emergency planning, evacuation, and response procedures.
Storm Stories (3pm, The Weather Channel) - "Katrina Cats" looks at the pets left behind during the aftermath of the storm.
If God is Willing and Da Creek Don't Rise (3pm, HBO) - Part one of Spike Lee's follow-up to his remarkable Hurricane Katrina documentary, "When the Levees Broke." Lee returns to the Gulf Coast to monitor improvements in housing, education, infrastructure, economy, and social services since Katrina hit in 2005. Features interviews with public and private citizens, former governor Kathleen Blanco, New Orleans mayor Mitch Landrieu, historian Douglas Brinkley, actor/activist Brad Pitt, and others.
Storm Stories (5:30pm, The Weather Channel) - "Katrina WLOX" looks at a New Orleans TV station that stays on air as the building around them is ripped apart by one of the most intense hurricanes on record. At the same time, the TV station's main anchorwoman is fighting for her life.
Katrina: Riding it Out (8pm, The Weather Channel) - A look at experiences of New Orleans residents who remained in town during the storm.
Brian Williams: In His Own Words on Hurricane Katrina (8:30pm, The Weather Channel) - The NBC Nightly News anchor hosts a look at the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina.
