Stars from CBS soap operas will come to Raleigh this month to meet and entertain local fans.
The "Soap Star Spectacular" consists of a Q&A session where fans can quiz the stars, a live trivia game in which fans try to stump the stars, and an interactive session in which fans can write for and then direct the soap stars in on-stage scenes.
Fans who purchase a VIP package will also get to attend a pre-show event where they can mingle, get autographs, and have their picture taken with the actors. The VIP package also comes with priority reserved seating. And every fan attending is entered in a chance to win a cabin for two aboard Soap Cruise in January.
So which stars will be in town?
From "The Young and the Restless" - Sharon Case (Sharon), Jeanne Cooper (Katherine), Billy Miller (Billy), Michael Muhney (Adam), Michelle Stafford (Phyllis), and Maura West (Diane).
From "The Bold and the Beautiful" - Don Diamont (Bill), and Brandon Beemer (Owen).
From "The Guiding Light" - Kim Zimmer (Reva).
The host of the event is Fort Bragg native and Daytime Emmy award-winning actor, Christian LeBlanc (pictured), who plays Michael on "The Young and the Restless."
The Soap Star Spectacular takes place on Sunday, November 21, at the Raleigh Memorial Auditorium. The VIP reception is from 12noon to 2pm, and the main show is from 3pm to 6pm.
The regular tickets are $36 and the VIP tickets are $146, but there are a limited number of those. You can get tickets through Ticketmaster.com or by phone (1-800-745-3000) or at Lowe's Foods. For more information go to www.celebrityeventsgroup.com or call 1-866-364-0330.
