SNL helps John Edwards with his taxes

Bookmark and Share

The SNL writers love making fun of John Edwards. The former senator and presidential candidate from North Carolina made the show again last night, with Will Forte once again playing the part. (Previous SNL Edwards skits have included one which defined his new legacy, one in which Edwards complained about Tiger Woods getting all the media coverage, and references on Weekend Update).

This time, Edwards was a client of tax attorney Mort Feingold ("He's a gem, he's a find, when you're in a bind, Mort Feingold, Accountant for the Stars"). Feingold noted that Edwards had two columns under Dependents ("secret" and "regular") and that his marital status has changed from "married" to "disgusting." They also discussed his current address and determined paying to use the toilet at the Marriott can be written off.

Feingold also gave advice to Tyler Perry, Kate Gosselin, Mel Gibson, and Twilight stars. The whole clip can be seen below.
