WTVD reporter/anchor Shae Crisson is leaving WTVD to take a job at WSB-TV in Atlanta.

Crisson announced on her Facebook page that her last day is this Thursday and that last night's Sunday newscast was her last time anchoring.

Crisson: "It has been an incredible journey covering multiple presidents, hurricanes along the coast as well as the Canes winning the Stanley Cup and UNC & Duke winning national titles. It's been an honor to cover our brave military too. It's the every day, ordinary people doing extraordinary things in this community that I will miss most. Thank you for letting me tell your stories - through laughter, tears and prayers, we have made it through."

Crisson joined WTVD in 2001 after two years reporting and anchoring at WSLS in Roanoke, Virginia.
