Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino (left) will be adding a new task to his daily regimen of gym, tan, and laundry: dance lessons.
The "Jersey Shore" lothario has been confirmed by ABC as one of the contestants on the upcoming season of "Dancing with the Stars," along with former NBA (and UNC) star Rick Fox, NFL quarterback Kurt Warner, singer Michael Bolton, "Brady" mom Florence Henderson, comedian/actress Margaret Cho, singer/actress Brandy, reality actress Audrina Patridge, actress Jennifer Grey, actor/singer(?) David Hasselhoff, rapper Kyle Massey, and daughter-of-famous-person Bristol Palin.
"Dancing with the Stars" hosts Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke made the cast announcements during tonight's episode of "Bachelor Pad."
First off, Jennifer Grey? Totally not fair. We already know she's a great dancer. You have to assume she's going far, even though she said tonight that any big expectations for her on the show are "so unfair." She stressed that she's 50 years old, which had to make 76-year-old Florence Henderson want to smack her in the back of the head.
And the Hoff? Let's just say they better not let Germany vote. We'll try to keep the Hasselhoff jokes to a minimum this season. Try.
Burke asked Bristol Palin if her mom Sarah Palin would be present in the ballroom to watch her dance and she said, "Hopefully." It sounded like two people in the audience clapped.
The show begins on September 20.
