Kornelius Bascombe, an NC State senior who came pretty darn close to winning his own talk show from Oprah Winfrey last year, has been named a co-host of a new talk show produced by Time Warner Cable.
Bascombe was one of four hosts chosen in a nationwide search. Time Warner says the new cable program aims to create diverse original content spotlighting African Americans who are paving the way in entertainment and the community.
Bascombe has also hosted a television show at NC State called Korn, which has been very popular on campus.
The other hosts will be Ashlei Stevens of Brooklyn, Carmela King of Dallas, and Isis Mckenzie of Los Angeles.
The new program will debut this fall on Time Warner Cable On Demand channel.
