It seems Kimmel is in a relationship with Molly McNearney, a writer on his staff, and has been dating her for several months. McNearny was hired as an assistant on the show in 2003, promoted to writer in 2006, and promoted to co-head writer in 2008.
Kimmel is the host and executive producer of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" which airs Monday through Friday at midnight on ABC.
Kimmel says he did not tell jokes about Letterman on his show when Letterman's relationship with Stephanie Birkitt was revealed on October 1.
