We're not endorsing the notion that you should cancel your cable or satellite service (or that you should purchase cable or satellite if you don't already have it). But a Happiness reader (thanks, Jake) tipped us off to this website, which explains how you can see your favorite shows -- legally! -- without paying for cable. And we're all about more ways to watch TV shows (our favorite way is Hulu).
Couple of caveats: 1/ Their Showfinder list is in no way complete. For example: Friday Night Lights and Burn Notice, both available on Hulu, are missing from the list; and Dollhouse, available on the Fox website, is also not listed. Those were just the first three I looked up. 2/ I have personally never thought $1.99 per episode of any show was a great deal on iTunes, especially if you want to watch a whole season. 3/ The site doesn't give you a way to email them to tell them about shows missing from their list -- the "contact us" link has been broken for weeks. That's aggravating.
But it's a fun list to peruse. Now I know all four ways I can watch old Hart to Hart episodes!
