Good grief! 'Biggest Loser' loses its mind

What is going on???

We're nearly 45 minutes into the usual two-hour "Biggest Loser" show, and we're STILL recapping last week. I'm THIS close to heading over to "Lost" to see whether I can figure out what's going on on that island. I'd rather be lost than bored out of my mind.

I've often thought that the two-hour "Biggest Loser" format is just too long. This pretty much proves it. Past seasons, I tended to click back and forth between "Loser" and "American Idol" and would give "Loser" my undivided attention only from the weigh-in to the end.

apparently

this was by design. NBC's Web site lists "all-new" "Biggest Loser" starting at 9 p.m. Hmmm. Did the network ever say "watch last week's rerun at 8 p.m."? Oh, well. I guess this gives local viewers another chance to see Sanford's Migdalia, our local Green Team contestant who was voted off last week (and this week!).
