Happiness is a warm TV

Golden Globe Awards: TV bloggers need HBO

Bookmark and Share

Don Cheadle makes a pretty funny intro for Burn After Reading, noting that the Coen Brothers have never hired him, and calling Brad Pitt "ordinary."

Here we go, Raleigh boy Michael C. Hall's category (best actor in a drama). Jon Hamm is probably the favorite. Or Hugh Laurie. But come on, Dexter... What the --! Gabriel Byrne wins for HBO's In Treatment. I can't believe it, and neither can the audience. And he's not even there!!!! Sigh.

More TV awards. This one for best actress in a drama. Anna Paquin wins for HBO's True Blood. I have got to get HBO. (You reading, Barkin?).

Cheadle

That red light reflecting off Cheadle's head was weird.

Anna Paquin had the first "awesome" of the night.

Mr Clean

Yes, Cheadle had a Mr. Clean thing going on!
