Jeff Bowman, an actual "ad man" from Garner, is a finalist in AMC's Mad Men Casting Call competition.
Bowman entered the contest under the name Dapper Don, and is currently in the top ten in voting. If he wins, he will get a walk-on part in an upcoming episode of "Mad Men."
Bowman is the sole proprietor and creative director at Bowman Creative, and does contractual creative direction and art direction for Ogilvy Durham, so he definitely knows the ad game. He has been married for 24 years and has three children.
Go to the AMC site to vote and send Bowman to Los Angeles. You can vote once a day every day till the contest ends in September. The winner will be announced around September 20th.
