Former 'SNL' star really doesn't like 'Glee'

Bookmark and Share

Almost since it began airing "Glee" has provoked debate because of its satire, characters, music choices, even guest appearances.

Today's controversy involves former Saturday Night Live performer Victoria Jackson, a Christian, who wrote a column criticizing the kiss between two male teens, calling it 'sickening' and saying the producers of the show have an agenda of 'one-way tolerance.'

Whether you agree with Jackson's stance on the kiss is one thing, but let's ponder this: Does Jackson have a point about the show having an agenda? Is there anything wrong with that? And can Jackson, who still has that wacky, airy bearing she had when she was on SNL, get a fair hearing of her views? Should she?

Check out her appearance on Showbiz Tonight and see what you think?

Right...the lady from a show

Right...the lady from a show that has so many distasteful sketches goes and complains about something harmless and part of everyday life for many people...that makes sense.

Liberal Media Bias Showing

Ms. Jackson viewpoint is as valid as Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert who this liberal rag sites as news sources. And two guys kissing on TV is revolting to many, even if it's not PC to say so.

persona

Wow. I always thought that the spacy, easily confused persona that Victoria played on SNL was only an act. Apperantly not.

@JustShutUp

So true. So true.

Are HIllary and Michelle just like Meg and Sarah?

What if I said Hillary Clinton is a whore.  Or Michelle Obama is a twat.

Afterall, Jerry Brown's campaign aide said Meg Whtiman is a whore.

Bill Maher just called Sarah Palin a twat.

What's the media to do? What's NOW to do?

What a pathetic waste of

What a pathetic waste of human flesh. She writes such drivel, and when asked to respond her reply is "It doesn't matter what I think?"!

She's right, what she has to say doesn't make one iota of a difference. If you want to believe a folk tale translated numerous times for the benefit of human ego, then that is your own stupidity. Keep your mouth shut.

Jealous

Just another C list hollywood has been trying to get their name and face back into circulation - not a Glee person, but do realize a few things: its widely popular especially among the teenagers, it is also something new and fresh - counter to the 100 detective/lawyer shows that occupy the airwaves.  Some people just need to find work or take up a engaging hobby!
