Once again, the Happiness bloggers elected my mom our Dancing with the Stars correspondent. After each show, she calls me with her report...
Last night was a bit of a shocker. Most thought the Worm-dancing Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak would be released, but he's safe for another week. Instead, the unlucky dancer sent packing was Denise Richards.
"I tell you what," my mom said, "there must be some geeks out there voting. I cannot believe he did not go -- and everybody else was shocked to death too."
The special entertainment on Tuesday night's results show, as promised, was Hall and Oates. My mom reports that they were "very good," and sang "a song about a woman." ("Maneater").
But the big news of the night was Wozniak's miraculous reprieve.
"After that Steve man got saved I was in shock, I couldn't believe it. It came down to Holly and Denise (right) for the dance-off, but Denise must not have a big following. I guess she's paying for taking Heather Locklear's husband away from her. She made some enemies with that move. And she was ugly to her husband (Charlie Sheen) about their children." My mom likes US Weekly magazine. "She just hasn't had good press. She really cannot dance though, so she was going to have to go eventually."
"I was kinda hoping that either Steve or Steve-O would go home," she concludes, "because I swear, if they don't they're gonna kill themselves. They need to leave for their own safety."

But my impression was that he did all kinds of crazy stuff -- jumping through glass, stapling body parts together. And now Mr. Tough Guy has been humbled by The Dance.
