Once again, the Happiness bloggers elected (begged) my mom to be our Dancing with the Stars correspondent. After each show, she calls me with her report...
Last night was another dance-off and another double-elimination, which means the Dancing herd is thinning at a pretty quick rate right now. Maybe they better slow that down a little since the flu might have folks dropping like flies soon enough (Professional dancer Lacey missed Monday night's show with the flu, and Donny Osmond is under-the-weather. Marie Osmond, DWTS backstage correspondent for "Entertainment Tonight," also has the flu. I'm just sayin'...).
Here's my mom's recap of the show:
"Team Tango, which won the group dance the night before, danced again. They were just as good as the night before.
"They had guest singer Colbie Caillat, and she sang her new song while Alec and Edyta danced. That was okay. Then Mark and Derek's band played. That's not my kind of music, but I guess some people liked it. I like them, but not their music.
"Then Rod Stewart sang 'It's the Same Old Song.' He was great! I love Rod Stewart.
"The first couple in bottom three was Mark Dacascos & Lacey. Second, Michael Irvin & Anna. The third, Aaron Carter & Karina.
"They eliminated the bottom dancers and that meant Michael & Anna. So then there was a a dance-off between Mark & Lacey and Aaron & Karina. Mark & Lacey did the Cha Cha, and Aaron & Karina did the Jive. Of course, the Jive was right up Aaron's alley. It was very fast and energetic and good. Mark & Lacey did well too, but Aaron was the best, and the judges eliminated Mark & Lacey.
"So, I was right. The two I predicted to be eliminated were the two who are gone!"
