With two TV series in as many years now on his resume, Christian Slater seems to have set aside his movie star career (for now) in hopes of making it big on the small screen.
Last season's "My Own Worst Enemy" on NBC was cancelled pretty quickly -- not because it was bad, most likely because it was too complicated for many viewers.
Slater is giving it another try now with a Jerry Bruckheimer procedural airing tonight on ABC called "The Forgotten" (10pm). Slater plays the father of kidnapped girl who devotes his life to solving cold case crimes.
Newsweek has a good interview with Slater in which they ask him about which TV shows he likes ("Dancing with the Stars" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm" are two), about being a dad, and about some of his scrapes with the law. "When you’re going through stuff and your life is confused there’s just nothing funny about it," he tells them.
"The Forgotten" airs on Tuesday nights at 10pm on ABC.
