Canceled: "The Gates" are closed

ABC has apparently canceled its midseason vampire-werewolf drama, "The Gates."

The network hasn't officially announced the show's demise, but several of the show's stars are tweeting the sad news to fans.

That's a shame. Now we'll never find out what happens to Charlie now that Devon has turned him into a ... well, we don't really know what that was. And also, we'll miss seeing Pittsboro's Andrea Powell as the uptight werewolf mom, Karen Crezki.
