ABC has decided to pass on more episodes of "Eastwick," essentially canceling the show after its 13-episode run ends later this fall. ABC says it will air all the episodes.
Despite strong lead-ins from hit new sitcoms "Modern Family" and "Cougar Town" on Wednesday nights, "Eastwick" had pretty weak ratings. Last week's episode only attracted about 4.6 million viewers (roughly the same atrocious ratings Jay Leno has been drawing lately).
On the bright side, ABC has ordered five more episodes of Christian Slater's new show "The Forgotten," which has consistently scored better than "Eastwick."
"The Forgotten" airs on Tuesday nights at 10pm, except for this week, when it's pre-empted by "In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts: Bright Lights, Big Stars, All Access Nashville," a special promoting the CMA awards (which airs Wednesday, November 11).

They will say even with low ratings, the show is so much cheaper to produce than a scripted drama, that they are still winning. It's very possible that Leno will get tired of being a laughingstock, though...
