Poison frontman and reality TV star Bret Michaels appears on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" today to talk about the subarachnoid brain hemorrhage he suffered last month.
It's his first televised interview since the incident, which nearly took his life. Oprah asked Bret about wearing his trademark bandana even while in the hospital and he said: "Its like Superman without the cape. I said, 'If I'm
going out, I want to go out rockin'.'"
Bret is currently a finalist on "Celebrity Apprentice," and the winner is annoucnced live on the show this Sunday night. He still tours with Poison, who is scheduled to go back on the road this month, and also stars in a popular VH1 reality show called "Rock of Love." (If you're wondering why practically everyone you know in their 30s and 40s adores Bret Michaels, here's why.)
Oprah also talks to country music singer Chely Wright, who recently announced that she is gay.
"The Oprah Winfrey Show" airs on WTVD at 4pm. If it's too late for you to tape today's show, WTVD airs reruns at 1am.
