The FCC has just released a list of that want to drop analog before or on Feb. 17, despite the new June 12 date.
Unfortunately for viewers not ready, local stations are on the list, including WUNC, WTVD, WNCN, WRAL, and WRAZ. Here's the story. Here's the list. (List is a pdf.)
Update: As some smart and observant posters pointed out, I overstated the local stations going digital before June. It looks like only watchers of MyRDC, The CW and WRAY will be affected. Sorry about that. And thanks to those who posted.

Thu, 02/12/2009 - 13:39 — outerspaceThe reason WLFL and WRDC are the only stations to make the switch is frankly because their owner Sinclair is "cheap." They're doing the same thing with their Triad duopoly (WXLV-45-ABC and WMYV-48-MNTV).
(It's much cheaper to turn off your analog signal than keep it running along with a digital signal)
Thanks for clearing things up

Yes, clearly a misread. What

What is interesting about the list, however, is that in any given market, either all the main stations are going digital (what is now) early, or none are.

Adrienne, that PDF lists all
Tue, 02/10/2009 - 19:18 — bdleblancAdrienne, that PDF lists all stations in the country. Only stations that have X's in the "pre 2/17" or "on 2/17" columns are turning off their analog signals on or before February 17th. In Raleigh's case, that's WRDC (channel 28), WLFL (channel 22) and WRAY (channel 30).
Incidentally, the spreadsheet also shows that WRDC and WLFL will leave a nightlight message on their analog signals after 2/17, displaying a message that will tell listeners that the analog signal has been shut off.
