Barbara Stager special airs on A&E

Bookmark and Share

American Justice, a true-crime documentary series hosted by Bill Kurtis on A&E, will re-air their special on convicted Durham murderer Barbara Stager tomorrow, April 21.

"Till Death Do Us Part" will show at 10am and again at 4pm. A&E broadcasts locally on channel 27 on Time Warner Cable.

Stager was convicted in 1989 of shooting her husband, Durham High School baseball coach Russell Stager. Barbara Stager shot him in the head while he slept, and is suspected to have murdered her first husband Larry Ford in a similar manner, but she has never been tried for Ford's murder.

Stager was up for parole this year, but her parole has been denied
