A team from Sweet Memories bakery in Apex will appear on the "Food Network Challenge" Sunday, competing in their Giant Wedding Cake Challenge.
The Sweet Memories team, led by Executive Pastry Chef Donna Ford along with Danielle Matroni and Marina Norris, had to design a cake personalized to the bride and groom's tastes. Sound easy? Well, the cake also had to be at least six feet tall.
You'll have to tune in Sunday to see how they fared against the other three competing teams. You can even join them for a viewing/tasting party at Rudy's Pub & Grill in Apex starting at 7pm Sunday. The show starts at 8pm and airs on the Food Network.
