Bookmark and Share

If you think you have what it takes to follow in the footsteps of Garner's Scotty McCreery, you'll want to strike out for Cary early tomorrow morning.

Fox 50 is holding a one-day audition for "American Idol" tomorrow (July 9) at Cary Towne Center (1105 Walnut Street). Registration starts at 9 a.m. between Talbots and Dillards, and auditions begin at 10 a.m. You can start lining up at 6 a.m. but no lining up before 6 and no camping is allowed.

Fox 50 says one person will get a guaranteed audition with "Idol" producers in Charleston, S.C.

You must be between the ages of 15 and 28 to audition for the show.

Check out the Fox 50 site for a full list of rules and a downloadable registration form.
