An analyst purports Apple is ramping up to manufacture an iPhone compatible with Verizon's and Sprint's CDMA technology.
In a note to investors, analyst Jeffrey Fidacaro with Susquehanna Financial Group said Apple said checks with overseas suppliers indicate Apple is readying to produce 3 million CDMA iPhones.
This latest news supports several other previous reports.

Citing two anonymous sources said to be familiar with the Verizon iPhone plans, Bloomberg said the iPhone will be available with Verizon in January.
Verizon is the largest wireless carrier in the U.S. with nearly 93 million subscribers. The carrier has begun rolling out its 4G LTE network this year.
Verizon's testing has realized speeds nearly 10 times faster than its current 3G network which is CDMA EV-DO.
