According to Digitimes, notebook manufacturer Quanta Computer has received orders to produce the tablet for Amazon.
An Amazon tablet should greatly benefit Amazon sales. The device would be an obvious portal to Amazon products and services. The online giant has recently launched its own Android Appstore application and Cloud Drive digital music locker which could be moves to better position Amazon's tablet against the Apple iPad.
