Gadgets for Foodies

Bookmark and Share

There are kitchen gadgets for just about everything you can do or want to. Sometimes they even work. They slice, dice, stamp, roll, wrap, and promise a better life. Chow's culinary black belt, Roxanne Webber, gives some gadget advice. By the way, when not in the kitchen she has been seen on the drag strip. I stumbled across a video of Webber on her motorcycle tearing down the strip. Back to those gadgets....

Forbes has compiled their Best Gadgets for Foodies. Along with the list is Webbers advice on choosing gear and gifts wisely to help you discover problem solvers rather than problem makers as many kitchen crapware devices turn out to be.

As far as my favorites on their list, I'm torn between the classic $30 apple peeler and the $300 Technivorm Moccamaster KBT741 merely for its cyborg-like name. Here is a link to the Forbes article and list.

Here is Roxanne Webber heating things up at the strip.
